SCENOGRAPHY ARTISTIC DIRECTION Photography video

DATADREAM is a solo by and with Steven Michel, in which he explores how technology affects the body and psyche in relation to reality, spirituality, and otherness.

At the edge of the projection, the audience witnesses a space in mutation. For this choreographic piece, I developed a video scenography based on images collected during a residency in Montevideo (Marseille), combined with my own visual research. Conceived across residencies at Campo, deSingel Arts Centre, wpZimmer, and CDCN Le Gymnase, the video, deployed across the entire stage, interacts with the dancer and the light to bring forth a space where the physical and the digital enter into resonance.
