Lætitia Bica is a Belgian artist whose practice positions photography within an economy of images in which it no longer functions as a medium of capture, but as a relational and performative apparatus. Departing from fixed forms of representation, her images emerge through situated acts of engagement, inseparable from the social, bodily, and affective conditions that bring them into being. Her work critically engages contemporary image-making as a field structured by relations, negotiations, and continuous processes of adjustment, where meaning is produced through encounter rather than depiction.
